Lions Clubs District 204 Peace Poster Contest

On November 17, 2012, Lions Club District 204 sponsored a Peace Poster Contest with the theme “Imagine Peace” for youth ages 11-13 years of age. A total of ten poster entries, including one entry from Saipan, were on display at the Guam Premier Outlets for official judging. Patrons of the shopping establishment also participated as judges for the “People’s Choice Award.” The winners of this year’s poster contest are:

FIRST PLACE: Aiden John Guzman, age 11, St. Francis Catholic School, Sponsored by: SOUTHERN LIONS

SECOND PLACE: Gabriel Grande, age 13, F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School, Sponsored by: GUAMERICA LIONS

THIRD PLACE: Megan Montano, age 12, Benavente Middle School, Sponsored by: STARS LIONS

"People's Choice Award" Aiden John Guzman, St. Francis Catholic School, Southern Lions

​

First place winner, Aiden Guzman, advances to the international peace poster contest where he will compete with other youth from around the world. The overall grand prize winner at the international level will win $5,000 and a trip to a special award ceremony with the sponsoring club president and two family members at Lions Day with the United Nations.
